I live in Los Angeles, so summer is no joke. I’m pretty much sweaty at all times (very attractive), so I want my makeup to be lightweight and radiant. Concealer is probably my favorite makeup product – it helps me look instantly more put together and awake. A lot of full-coverage concealers can be too heavy in hot weather, so I wanted to talk about some lightweight concealers to give you enough coverage while still looking natural.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser
I’ve been using this concealer for years and it has never let me down. It’s available at the drugstore, so automatic points for that! My favorite thing about this concealer is its thin consistency. Trust me, I love myself a thick concealer, but in the summer the last thing I want is to feel like I’ve got a pile of makeup on my face. This concealer from Maybelline provides excellent coverage while being lightweight. It’s hydrating under the eyes, which looks beautiful in the summer months.

BareMinerals bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer
Any time a product has the word “serum” in it, chances are it’s going to be lightweight. The great thing about this concealer is that even though it’s extremely lightweight, it still provides amazing coverage. It makes your under-eye area look hydrated and healthy, not cakey. because it is so hydrating, it may not be suitable for extremely oily skin, but it definitely works for combination, normal and dry skin.

Glossier Stretch Concealer
As a brand, Glossier is known for their no-makeup makeup. They make lightweight products to enhance one’s natural beauty rather than covering up and changing. This concealer is the perfect product for the brand and their mission. With buildable coverage, it’s easy to control the look of this product. It’s another lightweight, hydrating concealer that will keep your skin looking like skin. If you’re one for full coverage, this probably isn’t going to be the product for you. This is more for the “off-duty model” type of look. Dark circles and imperfections may still show through, but less so. It doesn’t dry matte, so if that’s the look you tend to go for you’ll definitely need to set with a bit of powder.

RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up Concealer/Foundation
This product from RMS Beauty is similar to the Glossier Stretch Concealer, in that it’s quite lightweight, sheer and hydrating. This is the kind of product that is ideal for those no-makeup days where you want to look more awake and polished. It hydrates under-eyes and keeps skin looking radiant and dewy. it can also be built up and used as a foundation to even out skin tone. The “off-duty model” vibe I mentioned earlier is very in at the moment, and this product is perfect for that look.

IT Cosmetics Eyelift In A Tube
This is a 2-in-1 product, and I’m all about that. One side contains IT Cosmetics’s famous Bye Bye Under Eye concealer, and the other contains a liquid brightener. If you’ve ever tried Bye Bye Under Eye, you know that it has a pretty thick consistency. I know this seems like a no-no in the summer months, but the key is to use a teeny-tiny amount of product. The concealer is so full-coverage that you can use such a small amount. It also has a radiant finish, which looks gorgeous in the hotter months. Adding the brightener on top of the concealer makes eyes look instantly more awake and younger. What I love about the brightener is that it’s super lightweight and adds radiance without adding any type of shimmer or glitter.
